WORD formally registered with South Sudan's RRC.
On 1 April 2026, Women's Organisation for Resilience and Development (WORD) was registered by the Relief and Rehabilitation Commission under registration number 6338.
WORD is a women-led national NGO founded by professionals and survivors of conflict. Registration enables WORD to operate lawfully across South Sudan in collaboration with national, state and county authorities, community leaders, NGO partners and donors.
Our programmes integrate food security and livelihoods, shelter and non-food items, education, WASH, protection and GBV response, health, nutrition, and peace building — with the belief that resilient women and girls are the foundation of community transformation.
